allline is an inbox for every customer conversation. chats, emails, social messages and phone calls come into one place, where workflows and agents automate inbound and outbound. our voice agents answer and handle calls using models we build ourselves.

allline is pre-launch. the core product is in place, and we're getting ready to launch. revenue from our other product funds the company, so we can focus on quality over deadlines. we're a small team, and you'll be one of our first engineers.

the team

allline is built by a technical founding team. our engineering team brings experience from quant research and machine learning at meta.

what you'll do

- own features end to end, from the first idea to shipping and refining them.
- take the product from pre-launch to its first customers.
- extend and improve our channel integrations.
- build the voice infrastructure for our agents: live calls, telephony and the connection to our models.
- keep the app instant as data and usage grow.
- talk with customers and help decide what we build.

what we're looking for

- experience building and shipping production web products in typescript, on both the backend and the frontend.
- product sense. you care about how the product feels to use: the speed of an interaction, the motion of a transition, the wording of an empty state, the flow of a keyboard shortcut. you notice the small things that make software pleasant, and you fix them without being asked.
- ux judgment. you can turn a rough idea into a clear, simple interface. you think about edge cases, loading and error states, and the person on the other side of the screen.
- performance. you treat speed as a feature. you profile and measure, and you fix whatever slows the product.
- comfort working without detailed specs. you take a problem, make decisions and ship.
- experience with effect.ts and rust, or interest in learning it.
- bonus: experience with distributed systems, at work or in your own projects and experiments.

share 1–2 projects (github repos, or something live we can try) that shоwhow you build. we want people who find simple solutions to hard problems: a sync engine, a realtime audio pipeline, an app with real users that feels fast and carefully made, or a database you wrote from scratch.

for each project, tell us the hardest problem you solved, why it was hard, how you approached it, and what you personally contributed.

the listed salary isn’t a cap. we pay more for exceptional depth.
